This is a vintage EZ-Tec 36911 Coastal Express G Gauge train set by Scientific Toys, featuring the classic Pennsylvania Railroad #9714 steam engine in the iconic 4-4-0 style. Manufactured in 1998, this plastic train set includes. Locomotive (Green, #9714, 4-4-0 style). Coal Tender (holds 6 “C” batteries – not included). 20 pieces of G gauge track – Includes 12 curved and 8 straight sections. All pieces fit together to form a working loop approximately 6.5 feet in diameter. 27 MHz Radio Control Transmitter (holds 9V battery – not included). Forward, reverse, and stop via remote. Realistic train sounds (untested). Auto-coupling cars for easy setup and play. This train set is untested and prior condition is unknown. This train was in storage for many years. The batteries were removed prior to being placed in storage. All pieces appear to be in good cosmetic condition. There is no paperwork with train set, very simple to setup. This is a very nice train for under a Christmas tree. Update – just found this wheel section and will be added to set. Unaware where this part goes but appears to be part of set.
