Only 2000 made world wide (see the last photo to show the list of LGB set that are limited Edition). Durable brass track (12) for indoor and outdoor use. The doors open and latch closed using the door handles on both ends of the passenger cars. The roofs are removable to expose the seats inside the car. New in the box. The box has been in the closet so there is some wear on the corners of the box. I would love to keep it but we’re moving and leaving our Garden Railroad behind. NEW Complete LGB Freight Train Starter Set #72423 Lights Work & Smokes Great
For those of you who are familiar with that company, they only handle high end merchandise so we were confident that the quality would be exceptional. This is one of two train sets that we originally bought, one for our family & the other for our sons family. Turns out he travels so much that he hasn’t had the time or the space to take his set home. No longer makes sense to hang onto it. We set ours up in an outdoor garden & it was a real workhorse. Never had issues of any kind. Has working lights & smokes. Please check out the pictures, since I’m counting on them to help with the descriptions. You’ll notice the wheels on the train have never been used or had wear of any kind. I took all the pieces out of the box to demonstrate the condition & to show you what was included in this sale. All the train cars are in excellent condition with no scratches or dings. Comes from a smoke free environment. Box is in excellent condition. Pristine enough to gift it.
