The LGB Big Train Passenger Starter Set (Lake George and Boulder) # 25301 is a vintage model train set that includes train, track and transformer. This pre-built set is ready to go with an analog control system, G gauge scale (1:22.5). Made of plastic and manufactured in Germany by the renowned brand LGB, this starter set offers a transportation theme for enthusiasts of model railroads and trains. The set is a collectible item that brings joy to both children and adults. Coach cars have been converted to steel wheels. One coach has electrical pickups which supply power to interior incandescent light. Locomotive has directional working front headlight and functions as does interior coach light. Locomotive comes with smoke unit but was not tested. Figures are missing, except engineer, and transformer is not original to set. Set was tested with supplied model train transformer and works properly. Original hook coupler on locomotive was replaced with loop coupler, but original coupler is in the box. Two straight sections of track have been added to set. Box is in fair condition. This is a very good looking loco and coaches with a great color scheme.
