GARDEN RAILROAD TRAIN G SCALE MINE BUILDING SET FOR USE w LGB ARISTOCRAFT LOCOS

YANKEE GIRL G SCALE GOLD OR SILVER MINE SET Modeled loosely after The Yankee Girl Mine near Ouray, (we scaled it down just a tad) this fully assembled, weather resistant Colorado style mining operation is built to approximately 1:24 scale. It could also work well with slightly larger or smaller scales such as 1:20.3, 1:29, the old American Flyer wide gauge, or the Lionel, Marx and MTH standard gauges. This mine would also make a great addition to your Franklin Mint, Danbury Mint, or 1:24 diecast car and truck display. The head frame/ ore house of the mine has a footprint that’s about 18″ wide X 28″ long and it stands about 23 1/2 tall. The hoist shed is about 6 1/2″ X 7 1/2″ and it stands about 7 tall. Built from solid Western Red Cedar, these naturally rot, insect, and weather resistant structures have been assembled using galvanized fasteners and waterproof adhesives throughout. The exterior has also been saturated with exterior penetrating stain to seal and protect them from the elements. The corrugated aluminum roofs won’t rust, shed water like a duck, and have been painted for the look of rusted and galvanized steel. Windows have acrylic window panes and all doors are fixed in place. Open base design allows structure interiors to be easily lit, if desired. Perfect for diesel or steam layouts of any era. This set consists of the head frame building, hoist house, 1 – length of cable to run between them, 2 – 16 pcs of S scale tin plate track, 1 – pallet, 2 – gears, 2 – benches, 1 – barrel and 2 – crates. All other G scale automobiles, train, track, scenery, figures, buildings, and accessories are shown for scale only, and are not included. This structure is not recommended for use as a toy by small children, or for outdoor use in extreme weather conditions. Be sure to check out our other items for more buildings. The Original Bachmann Big Haulers G Scale Train Set w/Large Track Vintage Video. The 2 straight pieces of the track are 4 feet long and they do not break down smaller. It’s big and it’s heavy. Tested everything but the smoke system, don’t have the solution to test it with, forward and reverse work, sound works. The track connections should be red wire on the outside of the track, blue on the inside. If you hook it up and forward is reverse, you have the wires hooked to the track backwards. Switch them and all will be well. There are a few spots on the straight track where the tie spacing is slightly larger and that is where I hooked the wires to. It comes with a large track. Measurements are taken with the tape measure hooked to the outside rail. In the video it is sitting on an 8ft X 4ft pool table, and the track hits the edge of the pool table all the way around. The break wheel is broken off the box car. It can be glued back on; it is inside the box car inside the bag with all the extra pieces. It is wrapped in the bubble wrap in the bag.
