LGB 20401 Chiquita Train Set. Condition is used (see pictures) This is a classic G gauge complete vintage train set from 1984. This appears to be the O edition of this set. The engine is the older style brown color (very desirable for collectors) and the gondola is medium brown. Everybody loves the bright yellow Chiquita banana car! Durable, easy to get on the tracks (which are brass for indoor and outdoor use), reliable, and fun to play with. High quality West German manufacture (not China). The engine has front and rear lights. The doors open and latch closed on both the box car and gondola. Great for loads of candy, appetizers, army guys, etc. A transformer, special connecting wires, and 2 people, are included with the circle of 12 tracks. LGB 20401 Starter Set Chiquita Collection with extras G Scale. This is part of the Chiquita Collection. Very nice LGB Quality. Locomotive, boxcar and gondola, track transformer. The locomotive features plastic construction, metal wheels, lighting, motor. The cars feature plastic construction, plastic wheels, couplers. EXTRA: 2 pieces of extra track and dozens of some sort of fasteners. Appears to be barely used. The perfect train for around the. The large size makes it less fragile and able to take the abuse smaller children will dish out. (as all with all model trains, use only with adult supervision as there are small part that will create a hazard if swallowed) Box has storage wear. See Last Photo for one minor flaw. Runs great forward and revers, both lights work, no broken or missing small parts. Also includes Chiquita Banana Box Car, a high side flat car, LGB transformer and track clips, LGB people, and 12 pieces of LGB curved track. All of my model trains, rolling stock, and accessories come from the estate of an advanced collector. His collection covered the 1960s to just past the turn of the century. Everything has been stored in a controlled environment since then. I have over 200 locomotives, 200+ cars, and track & accessories most of it NOS/MINT.
