Please note: After receiving input from experts on LGB train sets of this era, I’m concluding that this is a REA set that’DOES NOT’ include the original REA white sleeve box that the set came in. The locomotive & passengers cars (3) are new and haven’t been removed from box. LGB 2070D, 3097, 3098, & 3099 Pullman Cars. ORIENT EXPRESS G SCALE STEAMPASSENGER SET. LGB 2070D 3097 3098 3099 ORIENT EXPRESS G SCALE STEAM PASSENGER SET. Set includes a locomotive and three passenger cars. 2070D Locomotive features operating puffing smoke. Limited Edition of 1500 sets were manufactured by LGB. This set has never been removed from boxes. All original boxes & sleeves. Please note the following: #1 The box lid of the engine has a 1/8 inch nick on the edge. See photo #5, just below and to the left of the word Lehman. The lid of the engine box was not square when manufactured. The top edge of the label end has a slight curvature. Locomotive had never been removed from box; the packing materials and pellets are still as they were when boxed. LGB paper work and instructions are included. Box lid was removed for photos.
