Large “G” Gauge train set by Bachmann: GOLD RUSH. This set had a 10 year run from 1994 to 2004, with several variations along the way. We do not know how to determine the actual date of this set. It is in near new, excellent condition. It was acquired from a collector’s estate so we opened it up and checked it out. It appeared to have never been opened. We set it up at home and found it to be too big for the house. It ran perfectly once set up. The instructions indicated it was important to use the included brackets to hold the track together but we found them difficult to install and gave up. The set worked just fine without them. It’s just too big for the house! This is truly a stunning starter set for anyone wanting to get up to speed on the G gauge equipment. Christmas is coming — quickly. Don’t wait until the last minute! Sorry to have to do this, but too many customers get in too much of a hurry to study the details. Unfortunately, they do not seem to understand these are vintage products with some shelf wear and imperfect packaging. We fully expect you are savvy enough not to need to see this, but we need to say it anyway. THIS IS NOT AMAZON!
