Blue Comet Atlantic City Express. 4-6-0 Steam Locomotive(with headlight and smoke), Coal Tender(with sound). Twelve sections of curve, 10 straight pieces of track to complete a oval. Illuminated Combined Car With working Doors. Power pack with leads to track. Three very small bears. Original box and instructions. The engine was track tested. I used the set’s curved track and my transformer. The engine moved smoothly forward and reverse at various speeds depending on my transformers power setting. The headlight was found working but smoke feature goes untested. The coal tender is missing the battery door(last picture) that houses the power to generate steam sound. The sound did work but I had to push down on the battery to create sound. Something will have to be fashioned to create a little downward pressure on the 9 volt battery so the sound will work. The observation car has one of the two lights working, the combination car has both working. Lights powered by a 9 volt battery. The track looked new prior to the test. The transformer goes untested and the wiring is missing to connect the transformer to the track. The wiring will need a special clip for the enclosed track connector so another wiring scheme might be easier to implement. The engine, tender and cars were pretty dusty, I got most clean but a little work is still needed for the hard to reach areas.
