The engine has damage which consists of a missing rail on one side as well as the rail mounts which is pictured. The electric cable connector that hooks from the engine to the coal car is missing. It runs flawlessly and all the tracks, other cars and power pack work great and look great. There may be other small signs of wear due to age and use.

LGB G scale Train vintage Set with #92377 0-4-0 CASEY LAKE GEORGE & BOULDER Locomotive, 3 CARS, track, turn out, bumper, controller. Used but in Good Condition. This Used 1993 expanded set includes. One: LGB LOCOMOTIVE, model #92377, is Used, has some trim parts missing but desirable for a large G gauge model railroad enthusiast. With a beautiful multicolor design and a wheel configuration of 0-4-0, this locomotive is ready to go. It runs well Except it is missing the bell and it Squeaks on curves. Interestingly it squeaks only when going forward, but quite when in reverse. See video and photos. Working headlight and illumination in the locomotive cab. It’s made of plastic and steel materials. Train Set by Playmobil (Set #4000)
Listing is for gently used, out of production, “G” gauge railroad set by Playmobil from the 1980’s. Item # was 4000. The plastic set includes. Class (non-smoking) passenger car. 3 figures (approximately 2¾ tall). Baggage cart with luggage. Track to transformer connector. The figures include a railroad conductor and engineer. A female passenger figure is also included. Other accessories include numerous tools and luggage. The locomotive is powered (maximum of 16v DC). It was tested and ran well in both directions. The headlight on the engine illuminates when power is applied to the track regardless of direction. The door to the coal bunker at the back of the cab can be raised and the roof is removable so the crew can be accessed. The sides, front and back are annotated with the engine number 99501 and a “DB” (Deutsche Bahn) sticker is also on the sides (but could be removed). It does NOT smoke. The roofs on the passenger cars are also removable to allow access. They, too, have the “DB” sticker on the sides but, again, could be easily removed. Track sufficient to build a 48 oval is included. Although in a Playmobil box as item #4354, the track is actually by LGB (item #1100). Pieces are held together with small plastic connectors included in the set (LGB item #1150). The track to transformer connector is Playmobil item #4535. It has only been played with inside a smoke free house so it is in very good shape with no broken pieces and (to the best of my knowledge and comparing it to the box top), nothing is missing. The set comes in its original packaging with a Styrofoam insert/box. The cardboard top is in poor shape with numerous tears and tape residue. The Styrofoam box is intact but is cracked on one corner. Set is compatible with other Playmobil kits or G-gauge model trains. Warning: contains numerous small parts that pose a choking potential for small children. Recommended age is 4 and up.
