This is new it has never been played with it is complete original with all documentation excetera the box does show shelfware. LGB 30th Anniversary #73968 Train Starter Set RARE. This is one of the best LGB starter sets, includes 6 pieces of straight track so the layout is a 4 ft x 7 ft oval! The engine is a classic Stainz model, very heavy and smooth runner. 1:22.5 G Scale – Compatible with rolling stock from most major G scale manufacturers. Train Set Details and Information. LGB Lehmann Big Train G Scale Indoor Outdoor Starter Set 72323 w/OB. Original box measures 29 3/4″ long, 21 3/4″ wide, and 6 1/4 high. The engine measure 12 1/4″ from coupling to coupling, 6 1/2″ tall, 5 wide at back rails. The engine – wheels are in very good condition very little wear. Engine, overall, is in good condition with no surface scratching, slight rub mark in paint on top. Marked “210” on side. “LGB” Made by E. Lehman Made in China. Tender measures 11″ from hitch to hitch, 5 3/4″ tall, 4 1/2 wide. The tender is in very good condition, wheels in good shape all working – no chips, scratches, or dents that we can see. Slight residue on wheels. Marked on side “PRR PENNSYLVANIA”. Passenger cars #1, #2, measures 12 3/8″ hitch to hitch, 5 3/4″ tall, 4 1/2 wide. Very good condition overall. No chips, cracks, dents. Windows fully intact slight scratches on windows. Hand brakes all intact, doors functional rails present. Train has been tested and DOES run. The transformer has been tested and works, it is in good condition with slight wear. Marked “50081” “LEHMANN” “TRANSFORMER”. “STEGER P/N 31-0042″ “Made in Germany”. Comes with 12 pieces of curved track. No brochures or instructions. Original box is marked “LEHMANN-GROSS-BAHN” “PASSENGER STARTER SET LIGHT & SMOKE” “72323”. But it was bought but in 1982!! Features: 0-4-0 Locomotive with light and smoke. 2-Passenger cars; with clear windows, opening end doors, and interior seating. 0-24v DC Transformer, 120 volt 60 Hz. 12-sections of curved track; solid brass rails, makes a circle. Track connecting power cable set. Track clips, Hold tracks together, mainly used on slippery surfaces. Get started manual and paper work!
