Marklin Maxi Museum Maximale Circus Train — Locomotive plus 10 unique Cars (12 total cars – one included FREE). I have never run them on track, except to test the Loco. From the mid 1990’s through 2006 the Museum Gauge 1 offerings were Maximale Circus themed, with colorful vintage circus themed artwork. These care have a feel of the vintage Marklin offerings from the 1930’s. Each car is imprinted as a Marklin Museum Car with the year of issuance. Many of the Museum circus cars included the train car and themed figures, circus animals, or circus autos or equipment. These are from the Maxi line by Marklin, Gauge 1 (1/32), and run on G scale or 1 gauge track. Marklin Maxi line of gauge 1 trains were all metal construction, metal wheels, and painted and finished to the highest quality. The Maxi line was discountinued in the late 2000’s. 1996 Director passenger Car – plus Big Top master of ceremonies figure. 1998 Gondola elephant car – plus 2 elephants and wooden ramp. 1999 Passenger car – plus clown figure. 2000 Gondola horse car – plus 2 horses. 2002 Locomotive – plus engineer figure and digital decoder. 2005 Gondola car with red canvas cover. The condition of all cars is excellent with no paint fading. These were stored in an air conditioned non-smoking home. Both damaged items appear repairable. Some of the boxes show shelf wear – and one box is slightly crushed on a corner. The packaging is excellent – each car is encased in a custom fit foam insert or tightly encased in a plastic locking shell.
