Comes with a Railpower 1370 transformer instead of the original LGB. Works great with very smooth adjustability. The engine, coal car, and passenger cars are all very nice. Train was tested forward and reverse at varying speeds. The coal car is not set up for sounds. It looks like the sound box can be added. The plug is there but the sound device is not included. So currently there is NO SOUND. There is no steam additive left in bottle to test the steam function but judging by the condition of everything its evident this train was well cared for; so I have no doubt the steam will work. Comes with 7 pieces of straight track. There are not enough track pieces included to make a loop. Very nice all weather train set made from high quality German engineering. This set is HEAVY.
