Item was received after the passing of a grandparent. I set it up and played with it just a little bit. All of the track pieces were there to make a full loop. Some of the connections are bent a bit, but they all went together. On one end of the loop the pieces wanted to go up in the air a bit and not stay flat on the ground. The trestles that the box shows to make the track be on a hill were not in the box. The train ran well on the straight track, but it always seemed to get stuck and have a hard time on the round ends. The electrical connection that is supposed to go from the engine to the second car appears to possible be damaged. The pins that the wire connects into is still there, but I was having a hard time connecting it. It appears that the piece to connect the engine to the second cart is missing. The other cart connects worked fine. I did not think to check if the light on engine was working when I had it out. Has the two figurines, a loose lantern/light, and the conductor is in the engine. Overall, it has a few minor flaws, but I think with a bit of work it could be a great train. Feel free to ask any questions.
