There are minor scratches and marks on a few of the cars and very minimal damage to the tracks. The whole set works great and is a lot of fun for kids and adults to use together. Offered for sale is an LGB #20501 Vedes Company Service G scale starter train set in excellent condition and I what I believe is complete. This train set looks like it has been unpacked and used very little and was told by the previous owner it was used around the Christmas tree for couple of years and then stored away. It comes with its original packaging and includes the #2020 steam locomotive, a 4021 high side gondola, and a 4042 Matra crane wrecker car. The locomotive runs like new and is quick. There are also 2 figures, three signs, 12 sections of curved track, a transformer and connections. The 3 little signs that are included, I don’t think are original but added later. Offered for sale is a used Bachmann #90025 ” Denver & Rio Grande Western” G scale starter set which I assess as in “C7″ excellent condition and I believe it is complete (see what is included below). C7 excellent is defined as: “All original and may have minute scratches and pain nicks; no rust, no missing parts, and no distortion of component parts” Included in this set is: the locomotive, tender, box car, and caboose. Also included are 12 pieces of curved track and 2 piece of straight track, transformer & track connector with wire. It does come with its original box and form insert however the box is in very poor condition. The locomotive runs just fine and the tender sounds work as well. The only thing I found on the locomotive is that two of the brake shoes on two of the drivers is broken off. They are here and included but have been broken off. They are very small parts and very fragile so it isn’t unusual that they get broken very easily. This is the Lionel Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends Electric Train Set, G SCALE. My grandfather was a great model railroad collector. When he died in 1998, he left his entire collection to me, while I was in my early teens. While I still love trains, I’m afraid I have neither the time space to properly display these. I have set aside several sets, cars, and engines that I intend to keep. Even if I keep one-tenth of his collection, it will still be more than anybody I know. It pains me to sell anything, but for a variety of reasons it must be done. This set is in excellent condition, clearly not new and sealed, but well taken care. He had G Scale track running in his living room along the ceiling. And liked to combine this set with the James set, among others.
