Offered here is a LGB Lehmann 94775 North Pole Express Starter Train Set in it’s Original Box. That is the only reason that I listed it as used under it’s condition. It’s wheels and pick-up shoes are shiny and clean and really don’t look to me as if they were ever ran on a track. The two passenger coaches, track, and power pack look factory fresh as well. It comes with a 51 circle of track and the locomotive has a headlight and smoke, and it all comes packed in it’s original box which also looks pretty much brand new. This is a perfect set for running around your Christmas tree or can even be used outdoors. I frequently lower prices until the item sells. THIS IS A LEHMANN LGB G SCALE SANTA NORTH POLE EXPRESS TRAIN STARTER SET 97445 IN BOX. This is a great set from the early 90’s. Very well built for a “toy train”. The locomotive weighs over 3 pounds! The entire set in the box weighs over 15 pounds. It is in excellent condition with minor signs of use; no significant damage, heavy wear and tear, or bad odors. The set does not appear to have been used very much, if at all – the contacts on the bottom of the locomotive don’t show any wear. Locomotive is missing a couple of small decorative pieces. Tops of passenger cars have a couple of broken tabs inside (but they still stay on). One of the screws for connecting the power terminal to the track is missing. All of the track clips may not be present. It has been tested – it works great. The locomotive responds to the controls and moves very smoothly. What you see is what you get; you will receive the actual item(s) shown, nothing more or less. Because I lower prices constantly I usually don’t accept offers. There’s no need to send me an offer – All you need to do is wait for the price to drop to whatever you might offer and if no one else has bought it, it’s yours! I do not know this item’s history.
