New Bright Holiday Express G Gauge animated train set. This train has 4 different sounds, volume adjustment, mute, forward and reverse, 2 speeds. The characters in the Candy Dancer car move their arms up and down causing the piece between them to move. Santa waves as the train passes by. Each car has some kind of animation and beautiful lights. You control what the conductor says as the train moves-All Aboard, HO-HO-HO, a bell or a whistle. Little ones will be spellbound! (adults too) This is a large train with large track pieces. You need a pretty good size space to set it up. The set has been stored for quite a while and wasn’t used much. No damage to any piece, track or controllers. It is running very smoothly and all sounds and functions are working properly. The track and wheel could use a bit more cleaning. They are to be cleaned periodically with something like mineral spirits or alcohol and then rubbed lightly with household oil such as sewing machine oil. I just did that when I had it set up for the photos, but it could use more. Even when stored, the track and wheels can become dark and need cleaning-as the instruction sheet mentions in “maintenance “. A train may not run correctly if the track and wheels are not kept clean.
