Offered is a complete LGB g scale garden railroad. It includes 280+ feet of LGB brass track, 3 locomotives, 16 cars, 3 bridges, 17 buildings, many trees and plants, and lots of miscellaneous. The layout as I have it measures 26 feet long, 15 feet wide and has two loops. It also has a side track that is about 15 feet long with a reversing unit attached. Of course with the included rail bender you can straighten the track and bend to conform to any desired layout. Locomotives: I will list many items in the description. This locomotive is not in perfect condition. It does run great but all of the sounds do not work and the smoke stack was knocked off when it went under a bridge abutment. It needs glued back on. The smoke stack does work and I have a large container of LGB smoke fluid to go with it. A railroad friend told me that there may be a rechargeable battery that needs replaced. USA Trains R-22005 & R22006 Chessie System C & O Nw-2 diesel cow & calf unit. One or both may be missing a railing or two. Then again they may be somewhere in the boxes. LGB Starter set engine 2774 0-4-0 locomotive. Track: included is over 280 feet of LGB brass track consisting of 3 and 4 foot sections. Also are several left and right hand switches. All is connected using Split Jaw rail clamps (too many to count). Some sections of track are new in the box. All can be easily taken apart. 16 Cars: I will list most of them here. You can look them up for more info. Many cars have been converted to metal wheels. I have the original plastic one if you wish to change them back for some odd reason. Many include the original box. LGB 41850 V8 Vegetable Juice flat car w/container. LGB 43672 Lake George & Boulder box car w/sound system. Colorado & Southern coal car. (Railway Express Agency) Baltimore & Ohio Blue Caboose 42109 w/ smoke and lights. Railroad Caboose (shows some rust on the axles). Covered Bridge: 36″ long, 15″ tall, 16 wide from roof edge to roof edge. Beautifully made and painted. Has hundreds of handmade wooden shake shingles. This and the other bridges has been kept indoors in the winter and each has been given a coat of Thompson’s Water Seal each year. Truss Bridge: 42″ long, 11 1/2″ tall, 8 1/2 wide. Yellow Arch Bridge: I used it in place of the covered bridge. Also in very good condition. BUILDINGS-17 total: A bit of explanation about the buildings. Some are Piko and some are handmade. I will list the name of the Piko building and here again you can look them up for more info. Some include the original box. The handmade buildings are quite unique and really make this railroad stand out from others. They were built by my father who was a master craftsman. He paid great attention to detail. For instance the houses not only have curtains but have the window blinds at different heights- like a real lived in house. Most people who would build a model house would have had the blinds at exactly the same height. The buildings include for example gutters and downspouts, copper around the chimney, blinds and curtains and many, many more extras. Water Tower-Aristo-Craft ART-7103, like new w/box. Red Barn-Handmade 15 1/2″ long, 11 1/2″ wide, 13 1/2 tall, painted barn red, built like a real barn with a loft and barn beams and braces. Piko 62207 Pharmacy Dr. In very good condition. Piko 62040 Bahnhofstrasse Rosenbach Station. This one could use the windows replaced which I replacement glass in the several boxes of Piko extra parts that I have. It could use a little regluing in places. I leave this building out at all times so unannounced visitors to the railroad at least had a building or two to see. Yellow farm house: 12″ wide, 16″ long, Handmade. Natural colored wooden shingles. Grain Elevator: Handmade, 16″ by 16″ by 31 tall. A very impressive building! It includes much detail, stairs, trap doors, grain shoot and much more. See the pics of the buildings. Unfinished Barn: Yes, unfinished! It was planned this way. It measures 13 1/2″ wide, 18″ long and 16 1/2 tall. It was built to look like a barn that was in the process of being built. There are wooden ladders and piles of lumber included. Piko 62034 Bay Wa Warehouse. Piko 62035 Bay Wa Storage Tower also in very good condition. Piko 62008 Sonneberg Goods Depot in very good condition. Hotel: What a beauty. 10″ wide, 14 1/2″ long, 15 tall. Includes gutters and downspouts. Copper flashing around the chimney. Engine House-for 3 locomotives: Handmade. 24″ long, 23″ wide, 14 1/2 tall. The doors all work. Aristo-Craft Church: This church has been kept outside. It has weathered nicely but is not in perfect condition. The cross has fallen off several times. It still shows well. Piko 62221 Farm House “Landhauser”. Blue Streak: This transformer operates the two tracks. It can operate up to 3 tracks. It can go forward or reverse. Other than that I do not know much more about it. It operates fine and I have never had any problem with it. LGB 5003/110 transformer with an Aristo-Craft ART-11091 reversing unit attached. I have used this with the reversing unit to operate a separate track. Miscellaneous: people of all types, decorations of all types, Istra model D332/NS rail bender with wrenches and instructions, switches, telephone poles, operating electric light poles, signs, lots of automobiles (not necessarily to scale but close), lots of Split Jaw rail clamps and about 100 issues of Garden Railway magazine. I have tried to list everything but may have left some out. Any materials used in the building of the railroad can also be taken. There is quite a bit of roadbed, stones, etc. You are getting the entire railroad. If you add up the prices of the individual items, cost of track, Piko buildings, accessories and the priceless hand made buildings you will see that this is quite a bargain.
