IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION… HERE IS A NEW IN BOX BACHMANN BIG HAULERS COMPLETE TRAIN SET WITH EXTRA NEW TRACK AND (2) NEW CARS. WHEN THIS SET WAS ACQUIRED AT AN ESTATE, BOX WAS OPENED AND A SECOND BOX. WAS PART OF THE SALE AS WELL. I HAD TO COMPLETELY SET UP THE SET IN ORDER TO VERIFY A COMPLETE / WORKING MODEL. AS I WAS INSTALLING THE TRANSFORMER, I HAD TO SEPARATE THE TWO LEADS IN ORDER TO PHYSICALLY ATTACH TO TRANSFORMER…. POSITIVE INDICATION THAT IT WAS NEVER FIRED UP PREVIOUSLY! EVERYTHING I TESTED WORKED FLAWLESSLY…. FORWARD / REVERSE TRAVEL, FLUCTUATING SOUND EFFECT, HEADLIGHT ON LOCOMOTIVE, LIGHTS ON ONE OF THE CARS (I HAD TO ADD A SMALL CARDBOARD SHIM AT THE BACK OF THE 9 VOLT BATTERY IN ORDER TO GET A GOOD CONNECTION). ITEMS NOT TESTED WERE THE REST OF THE INTERNAL LIGHTS IN THE OTHER CARS AND THE SMOKE EFFECT BECAUSE THE SMOKE FLUID WAS STILL IN FACTORY SEALED POLY PACK! THE EXTRA TRACK AND CARS WERE NOT SET UP BUT ALL APPEAR TO BE IN NEW CONDITION. EXTRA TRACK CAME WITH ADDITIONAL SHORT / LONG CONNECTOR PIECES. THE ONLY THING MISSING WAS THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS…… I PRINTED A SET OFF INTERNET. Overall assembled track size (w/out extra track) measures 51″ X 97″ in oval shape plywood base in photos…. Includes (4) conversion couplers to allow operation with other brands of large scale trains. Comprehensive original packing list. Detailed instruction sheet includes proper installation, troubleshooting section, and shows placement of all misc. Passenger Cars are equipped with battery powered lights 9 volt batteries… Extra track consist of (8) straight, (8) curves, & track connecting clips. (1) #97243 Coach w/ lights and (1) #97443 Full Baggage (both without original boxes). Speed – Synchronized sound system operation & Smoke unit on locomotive. Percy and the trucks are in very good condition with the only flaw that I could see was that their is a small paint chip on Percy’s funnel. Thomas and Annie seem to have some play and paint wear due to being loved by their previous owner. All engines tested and run smoothly on the 5’4″ x 4’3″ oval of track, Wall pack and Speed controller that is included. Comes as shown, You will receive exactly what is pictured unless the description states otherwise. Comes from a Smoke Free Home. Please keep this in mind when purchasing this item.
