Engine and cars taken out of box only to take pictures. Set is complete, no missing parts. Correct 21171 Engine, Tank Car, Caboose. Complete circle of 12 curved track sections. LGB 50030 / 110 Toy-transformer. All 4 original figures, track connectors, instructions. Also came as extras with the gift. 1000 straight track sections. Original LGB 50010 Smoke and Cleaning Fluid in sealed package. New LGB 1997 Catalog. Per instructions from the retailer, this set was always stored so that engine was in a normal upright position.

All lights on cars work, Whistle sounds then steam chuff chuff sound when the train starts after moving songs start to play, animation works on all cars, however the elf loading presents does not move all the time.

First, for more information about this version of the Holiday Tradition check out the YouTube videos. My set runs great. I have just cleaned and sanded the rails with is a big problem with these sets when it comes to the connection. I extended the connection wire from the engine to the coal car which was also a problem. Much easier to connect but still a little tricky with the tiny pins. Some of the Elves do not move but most do. The bell car in this set is not moving the bells which is a known issue with Lionel, that is why the later sets changed to the Calliope. The remote has the battery. Make sure you point the remote at the engine because it is infrared. I could not figure out how to upload a video. I would like to sell this as a complete set but I know people are looking for parts. I packed this as tight as I could but is still weighs 23 pounds and is 34x23x8. Took me an hour to build a box around this thing.
