The beautiful group of Pennsylvania steam locomotive engine, huge g scale, and nicely detailed passenger cars, and tender, make for a terrific large size train set for the Christmas tree, parties, or just home enjoyment in general. I cannot test the train as there is no track or transformer, just the cars. There is a contact piece I believe to connect to the rails if you have them. The boxes rather rough, but has protected “the Pennsylvanian” steam engine locomotive and rail cars well. About 20 year old Bachmann Big haulers train set with locomtive, cars and track in original box. Set was put up at Christmas each year but has been in storage for at least the past 5 years. We are looking for the original sales receipt and I will post it if we can find it. I saw some scuff marks on the locomotive, so there is some use , but I did not see anything that was broken.
