These are like new in their original boxes. Assume they were not. However, the “A” units are properly numbered for Santa Fe as 22 (lead) and 22C (trailing) for an ABBA set. This consist has an end to end measurement of 87 – over 7ft long! Forward and reverse lights work as they should. The Phoenix sound system is in the 22C numbered unit with a second speaker in its “B” unit, connected by a small 2 wire cable. The sound system seems to work as it should. This is not a DCC set up, so analog sound initiation is based on a voltage threshold. I believe it has a reed switch in the fuel tank for certain sounds (probably horn), but I have not tried this. These are all powered units, unlike the LGB F7’s where the B unit is unpowered. So you will have four powered units – a total of 8 motors! These units are in beautiful shape.
