New Bright Holiday Express G Scale Animated Train Set, No. 380, 1997 Limited Edition. This vintage train set is barely used and remains in very good cosmetic condition for its age. It has been assembled and tested. Moves forward and in reverse. Wired controller works perfectly. Speed, direction, volume and sound controls work. Animation works only on the Tree Top Tender. Animation does not work on the locomotive, Santa’s Toy Shop car or Candy Dancer car. Lights on all train pieces illuminate. The set contains four train pieces in total: one locomotive and three cars. Of these four pieces, the animated figures operate only on the Tree Top Tender. Because the animation does not work on the other three pieces, the set is not considered fully functional. Tree Top Tender car. Santa’s Toy Shop car. Additional items shown in the photos. The original box shows noticeable scratches, edge wear, creasing and damage from age and storage. The train pieces themselves are clean and appear to have seen very little use. Edition: 1997 Limited Edition. Please review all photos carefully for the exact cosmetic condition and everything included. Only the items shown in the photos are included.

Has a smoker but I didn’t have the correct smoke fluid to test. This set is transformer controlled. The only batteries it takes are for the tender for the sound feature. The engine, cars, and caboose are in very good condition. No tools required for set up. Comes in original box. More G scale listed. New items added weekly.

The Holiday Express Animated Train Set #380. Train is tested and is fully functional. Very Good Condition but do not expect perfection this is a train set from the 1990s so the plastic is brittle. Some plastic pieces have broken off and have been glued back on. 80% of train tracks are in excellent condition and nothing is broken on them. The remaining 20% are fully functional but have some pieces that are broken and have been glued back with plastic glue.

Made of durable plastic, this train set features a Christmas theme with a multicolor design. The G gauge size adds to the authenticity of the train, making it a charming addition to any model railroad collection. While the set does not come with track for operation, it still provides a delightful and nostalgic experience for train enthusiasts of all ages. Vintage, LIONEL The Ornament Express Train Set, 8-81017, Original Box, TESTED. Impress Santa and really scale up your Christmas decorating with this ornate train set. Large scale electric train set suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Big, easy to handle, complete and ready to run for years to come. Complete layout with 12 pieces of track to form a 4.3 foot circle. DC controller, UL approved provides the power to the Unique Posi-Lock track system for a weatherproof track construction. CABOOSE: Operating couplers, period styling with alot of detail. Stove pipe is off of the roof – not broken – just not installed – I’ll leave that for the new owner. I didn’t want to put it in and have it susceptible to being broken. WOOD GONDOLA: Highly detailed with period styling. Brake wheel and cargo. 3 satin ornaments sitting in their own little cradle. LOCOMOTIVE: Tested, ran smooth and quiet. I really think this set may have only been used once or twice. Nicely decorated steam locomotive even the interior shows some detail. Moves forward and reverse. Has an operating headlight. With all the good, this is where I found the only flaw. Right above the cow-catcher there should be a gold colored peg on each side – the left one is missing (see photo). I don’t know if this is something that can be acquired or not. Just remove the other, no-one would know. Stick a flag there or a wreath maybe.
