The only testing I did was, laid out some track, hooked up power to it, the Train Station lit up and played music.

The Holiday Express Animated Electric Train Set Model 387. There are several different models of the Holiday Express Train Set. This is the largest set they made. The 387 includes 24 pieces of track. 12 Straight track and 12 curved track. The track is in very good condition (no broken pieces) This train is a “G” Scale. Includes 6 Train cars. Santa’s Fe Engine. Santa’s Toy Shop. Tanker Car (complete with ice skater). Also includes a Musical train station where 2 elves are waiting near the clock tower- one is playing a violin- This Train Station plays several Christmas favorite songs and red and green lights flash to the beat of the music. NOTE: The train station is missing the front railing. Please compare the actual picture to the enlargement on the box to see the missing piece. This does not affect the operation of the train station. Each car has different animation, like a waving Santa, Elf ringing engine bell, one elf even pops up from a box on the outside of the caboose! And so much more. It seems every time you watch the train you see something different. Includes 120 Volt transformer, track connector and controller. Controller: Features Forward and Reverse, Volume Up/Down, Speed Up/Down, Stop, Mute, Reset. Sounds include: “Ho Ho Ho”, Bell, Whistle, “All Aboard”. The train set has been tested and works without issue. The box is scuffed due to storage.
