Outer Box has a few scuffs, and taped areas where the box had small tears. The inner styrofoam box is in perfect condition and the Train, tracks, and controller are all in excellent condition as well.

Brought out at Christmas time and stored the rest of the year. No flaws to note re train however the rubber on the controller has kind of a tacky feel to it- Ive read this is common for electronics as they age and there are some ways to clean them up though I havent tried. Fortunately the batteries were not pre-installed and they were packaged separately. We tested the batteries, the AA tested good and are included. The 6 C batteries had dies and have been discarded. You will need to provide new ones. Only other issue the light gray sides on the remote control are sticky this is probably due to age. Some clear tape should solve that issue.
