1997 New Bright #380 The Holiday Express Animated Train Set G Scale

Video will open in a new window. Using the mobile app? This is a “Used” item. For sale is a 1997 New Bright #380 The Holiday Express Animated Train Set, G Scale. This set is constructed mostly of plastic. The wheels are metal. It is a working running train set. There are some issues. The box is a little beat up and shows signs of wear. The Styrofoam has protected the parts inside very well. A couple of track pieces have damaged clips. These are documented with a white a dot on the rail road tie. There is not an instruction manual with this set. The tree top tender spot light above elf is out. The hand rail on one side of the tender is broke, but it can be glued together. There is a green light out on the Candy dancer along the floor of the car on one side. Step rail on one corner of the caboose next to elves is missing. Please see all photos for item condition. The controller has many features and all buttons work. The only issue I noticed is the sound I could not get to work and Engine Santa’s fe train car is missing some pieces that came off (please see pictures 10 & 11 that show exact pieces) but other than that works normally. Please note that items are preowned and may show wear and tear but overall in good running condition. The Sound does not work but does not affect the running of the train. Please look at all pictures closely as they are part of description and condition of all items included. Featuring train cars and accessories, this cheerful holiday train is master-crafted with all of the details you want. DILLARD’S TRIMMINGS ANIMATED CHRISTMAS TRAIN SET manufactured by New Bright. The 4 piece Electronic Train includes, Santa Locomotive, Tree Top Tender, Log Mill car, and Santa’s Toy Shop Caboose 4-4-0 Locomotive features Metal Wheels. The train Lights and has animation. Comes with 16 Feet of Metal “G” scale track; 12 curves and 4 Straight sections. A-C Wall Power (no batteries); Speed Control; Flashing Colored Lights; Animated Figures on each car; Forward and Reverse operation; Train Sounds and Electronic Voices. This Set will make the tree fun this Season. From all the research I did that this set is one of the rarest versions made. Locomotive with makes it rare. The Log Mill car is the red and green version and is the rarest of the cars to fine. I have tested everything in this set and works great. There are no broken or missing parts. I lube the locomotive and cleaned the track. The whole set is very clean. (see photos) Comes with a copy of the instructions. New Bright power track clip with the electronics is all original and tested, works. The original plastic housing that encloses the electronics had cracks on it and replaced it. I took a project box and made a new housing for it and I added the labels on the box like the original one had. (see photos #9,10, and 11). The item must be in the condition sent as pictured.
