It pretty neat to fire up the engine in a shelf display and just watch them in action. I use them on lgb and Aristocraft track. They lock in and worry free. I run mth Aristocraft USA trains and may others on them. And I think 10 rollers at this price is a steal. Please allow 2 days to make. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE : The train set is very old, based on my research it was made in 1989. Has missing only few straight track. This set have 12 curved track and 2 straight track. In my opinion its more then enough track to enjoy the set. In the coal car I put in new 9v battery but I was unable to make the light work on the back end of coal car. Sometimes locomotive stalls when driving slow, but tap it on top and it reconnect and works great. I have not tried the smoke, don’t know if smoke is working. When locomotive runs, the sounds works great but when locomotive idles the idle sounds sometimes doesn’t work and sometimes it does, I thinks its due to being very old. The box itself and polystyrene has obvious wear on them due to being old (see pictures). You can view this set in great detail in the video link I’ve provided below. This is G-Scale train set. For sale is a Bachmann G Scale North Woods Logger Train Set. Set ran great the last time it was tested. Engine includes a working headlight and steam chuffing sounds when the engine is in motion. Square battery is required but not included. Engine also has a working smoke unit that can be turned off. Six logs are attached to the flat car. Set also comes with a North Woods Lumber Company caboose. There is a very small (not noticeable) black plastic piece that is broken off the engine near one of the wheels (see picture). That piece is not included. Original set box and instructions are not included. Each piece will be wrapped separately. Track and transformer not included. The engine’s paint is very nice so it is possible it was repainted(the decals look original). The rest of the set looks to be in original condition. The ballast dump car is missing one coupler.
